Fancy that, I also had my first dance at my wedding to Dreaming Light (I was playing We're Here because We're Here to myself and my then-fiancee, who had never heard of them, said this is perfect)... I do agree it would have been good to hear some more harder tracks this time around. For me this album does not quite reach the heights of their last album, as it does not have the same majesty and emotional variety... but it still has some wonderful classic Anathema moments and I think the band remains unsurpassed in the space it occupies.

What a really beautiful review. I think this resume with beautiful words the feeling that produce hearing every album from this band. .
More or less rock/metal in their songs, they know how to rock it. I really like the vision of the band, the lyric, the sounds, everything.
I'm very excited about this album and I hope to see them live soon :)

Great review,

I really like Anathema, Had my first dance at my wedding to Dreaming Light, no-one does gentle morose beauty like them. Just wish they did a few more harder tracks too, because they really know how to do them too. But it's tough to argue with such quality being produced album after album. I am really looking forward to hearing this album in full!
