There were 50 box sets available (25 on Because Sound Matters website & 25 on Metclub’s website; this box set was bought from Because Sound Matters website). The box set was only opened to verify the albums are white and to make sure the albums were not damaged; the albums have never been played. There is some wear on the box (tried to show it in some pictures I took).

Seller’s comments: My loss….your gain. I just recently won this off ebay just a short time ago and now I regrettably have to sell this amazing piece of rock n’ roll history. If circumstances were different, I would not even consider selling this. This very record came from a collection from a famous UK rock radio DJ who passed away. He had a helping hand in bringing New Wave of British Heavy Metal to the fore front in the early 80’s….so no joke folks….the real deal to real rock n roll collecters….so serious bidders please, because it breaks me to sell this….Also…I paid a pretty penny for this gem, which I totally expected due to it’s rarity and the special history behind this very record….so no low ballers please. With that said folks, here’s the low down.

This is a RARE ORIGINAL SILVER & BLACK SLEEVE UK PRESSING OF THE FIRST MOTORHEAD ALBUM from 1977 entitled “MOTORHEAD”, ORIGINAL SILVER & BLACK SLEEVE UK PRESSING IN BARELY PLAYED CONDITION AND A MUST !!! This copy is the rare UK FIRST PRESSING SILVER & BLACK SLEEVE OF WHICH ONLY 600 COPIES WERE MADE !!!, and on top of that comes in NM condition with a NM INNER SLEEVE that is UNSPLIT !!! This is a rare ALBUM that rarely comes up for sale and especialy in this condition and here is YOUR CHANCE TO GET AN ORIGINAL BARELY PLAYED UK SILVER & BLACK PRESSING COPY !!! The album was pressed in 1977 on CHISWICK RECORDS, catalogue number WIK 2.
This copy comes with the original SILVER & BLACK COVER and a NM INNER SLEEVE and the condition of the VINYL is in NEAR MINT (PLAYED ONCE to test was UNPLAYED), SILVER & BLACK PRINTED COVER is in EX/EX+ condition (minor storage / shelve wear, and minor marks on the silver), INNER SLEEVE is in EX+++ condition (the best I have seen with no splits!!!). DON’T LET THIS RARE MOTORHEAD / LEMMY ORIGINAL SILVER & BLACK PRINTED SLEEVE ALBUM get away as you will NEVER see another one especially in this near mint condition.

Seller’s comments: SIDE 1. – STICK TO YOUR GUNS – SIDE 2. – TOAST OF THE TOWN. This is the ORIGINAL 45rpm on the white and black LEATHER records label. The record is in VG++ condition on both sides, with some light marks and scratches, but not too many. The labels are MINT- condition on both sides. The picture sleeve is in VG++ to MINT- condition with no split seams, and only some light wear.

I EXAMINE THE RECORDS UNDER A BRIGHT LIGHT, AND I TRY TO GRADE THE RECORD AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE SO THAT NO ONE WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. I ALSO GUARANTEE ALL MY RECORDS 100% IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY FOR ANY REASON.

The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition. A few minor surface marks. The vinyl has never been played. I just collected it and stored it all these years.

Mega Rare & almost impossible to Find: only 1,000 qty made This came from a collection of a Metal guitarist that died 10 years ago and it was sold to the record shop I was working at the time.
