On September 29 and 30 legendary crossover acts such as Sick Of It All, Biohazard, Cro-mags, D.R.I., H20, Agnostic Front, will share the stage with 24 other acts at REVERB in Reading, PA (1402 North 9th Street) for the annual East Coast Tsunami Fest.

Tickets are $35 for a daily pass and $60 for the entire weekend. Tickets went on sale today at 10AM EST and can be purchased at the official website for the festival here.

“The event is something that has become greater than the average fest,” said Chris Mahmood of OTW Booking, co-organizer of the festival. “It is something that we are very proud of. Mahmood was brought on board to help pull the whole thing together by Adam Engle and Ryan Zeigler of Stay On Point Booking who conceived the fest. The idea derived from Chris Brickhouse’s previous festivals, popularized by his popular website -Stereokiller.com.

Stereokiller.com has been responsible for the initial buzz surrounding the festival. After making the announcement, the festival page received over 25,000 hits in under 24 hours. The punk / hardcore / metal focused social networking site with over 250,000 daily users, gets 5000 daily unique sessions, and around 1.5 million page views a month.

Mahmood states: “This year as well as last I had a lot of help from my friend Richie Krutch from Wisdom In Chains to help book some of our favorite bands. And really that’s what it is. A fest of bands that not only do we personally enjoy, but names that have become very meaningful in the hardcore and punk rock community. We moved the fest to Sept this year because there are just so many fests during the summer. We know that people had tight budgets so we wanted to move it to the fall and have a very low ticket price to see all these great bands. We have a very comfortable venue with an amazing staff and security. This year is going to be so much fun, and we hope that Tsunami is something that builds year after year.”
