Dean Davidson, best known for his work with the hair metal band Britny Fox, has posted the title track from his upcoming ‘New York City Night’ CD at www.deandavidson.com. The track features Dean Davidson on lead vocals and piano, Jay Davidson on saxophone, Jim Miades on bass and Chris Golbronski on drums.
Originally rumored to be called ‘Night Bird’, ‘New York City Night’ is slated for an early 2013 release.
Davidson and producer/engineer Phil Nicolo have been recording the album since early March. Joining Davidson on the disc are musicians such as drummer Kenny Aronoff, The Hooters’ Rob Hyman, bassists Buddy Cash and George Thompson, guitarists Craig Simon and Jorganist Joe Deluca.
Some of the other song titles slated to be included on ‘New York City Night’ are “The Love Song Ends”, “Goodbye Rain Hello Sun” and “No World Blue”.
