Death Angel’s “Left For Dead” is from the band’s recently released seventh studio album The Dream Calls for Blood. It’s a classic thrash metal song with sharp and stinging  guitar melodies.

Here is some video footage from guitarists Rob Cavestany and Ted Aguilar of Death Angel in an exclusive instrumental performance featuring “Left For Dead.” It’s fun to watch if you appreciate guitar playing.

Death Angel also released an official video of “Left For Dead” this week. You have to go to their Web site to check it out. Here’s what guitarist Rob Cavestany has to say about the new video of the song:

“Our new video for the song ‘Left For Dead’ … the opening track off our latest record The Dream Calls for Blood. Directed by none other than Tommy Jones at VideoHammer Studios, it is comprised of footage filmed at AudioHammer Studios in Florida during the recording of the album. Catch a glimpse into our world in the recording studio as we create, collaborate, lay down tracks and attempt to survive the insane madness of making a DEATH ANGEL album! Hope you enjoy this little morsel that we proudly serve up to you as an appetizer – catch the main course when we hit your town on tour which kicks off this Thursday! 8 weeks across North America – plenty of chances to feast upon us… bon appétit and see you in the pit!”

Watching all this video footage of the making of the song in the studio gives the listener a whole new perspective. You always have a great deal more appreciation for the band’s creative process.
