Lacuna Coil’s latest song “Nothing Stands In Our Way” has a psuedo-industrial guitar punch with the usual great, soaring vocals of Andrea Ferro. It will certainly get Coil fans excited about the new forthcoming album, Broken Crown Halo (to be released April 1, 2014 in North America).
There’s a greater Powerline appreciation for Ferro’s vocal aptitude than the music’s obvious leanings towards nu metal. But “Nothing Stands In Our Way” shows that the Coil transcends the usual commercial humdrum of some current genres.
