Delain’s single “Stardust” may be too commercial for some metal flavors. However, it is certainly in the symphonic metal vein as well as the nu-metal artery. Its commercial appeal should inject new listeners into this. It should also give a rise to Lacuna Coil fans — or more precisely Cristina Scabbia fans — due to Charlotte Wessels’ quality female voice.
