Twisted Sister and Armoury Records have made the ’80s albums You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll, Come Out and Play, and Love is For Suckers available for the first time in one release.

The 1983 album You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll was the very first on the band’s Atlantic Records contract, and should be given the most significance.

You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll is Twisted Sister in its prime as a raw, unpretentious, take-no-prisoners rock ‘n’ roll outfit. And with the government committee, Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), about to rear its ugly head, Twisted Sister had a clear message to send to the world.

The message was well-received with straight-forward rockers throughout the album, topped off with the classic metal title track, “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll.” It’s hard to top a rocker like this. The best was truly saved for last.

But it doesn’t stop there with the new Armoury Records set. There is the inclusion of the three tasty bonus cuts: “One Man Woman,” “Four Barrel Heart of Love,” and “Feel the Power” (which were all on the original UK 12″ single of “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll”). And, just to note, “One Man Woman” is as good as anything Twisted has ever done.

It’s been over 30 years and these Twisted songs are still sounding strong. You really can’t stop good rock ‘n’ roll.
