Mayhem — “the one true Mayhem” from Oslo, Norway — were in New York City this month (November 3, 2011 at the Gramercy) and rock photography god Frank White was there to take photos. The shots are below in the slideshow.

The notorious Norwegian black metal band may only have one original member left — Necrobutcher (aka bass guitarist Jørn Stubberud) with De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas vocalist Attila Csihar coming a close second — but they are as gruesomely dramatic onstage as ever. Just look at the photos.
